Forrestal Bowld Music Center

Music Library

Located in Room 109 of the Forrestal Bowld Music Center, Phillips Exeter Academy's Music Library gives students, faculty and staff the opportunity to explore the literature of music in a convenient and comfortable setting. It also serves as a resource through which students may supplement and enrich their classroom, ensemble and private lesson experiences. The Music Library's collection currently holds nearly 7000 print volumes consisting of method books, study scores and sheet music representing a variety of musical traditions. Particularly well represented are works for solo piano, voice, and chamber music ensembles, as well as larger works from the choral and orchestral repertoire. Lists of works by BIPOC and other historically-marginalized composers in the Music Library's collection may be found on the research guide Music: Explore Diverse Repertoire.
