Arriving to Exeter via Boston Logan Airport or South Station

From Logan Airport or South Station, take C&J Trailways to the Portsmouth Transportation Center (PTC).  Check their website for rates and schedules.  You will only need to purchase a one-way ticket.  From PTC, we run Phillips Exeter Academy shuttles (white mini-buses) to bring you to the Academy.  Our shuttles run every hour to coinside with the C&J arrivals from Boston.  Our shuttle service from PTC to the Academy is as follows:

* Late Saturday arrivals staying on campus:  If your arrival to Logan Airport does not allow time to catch our last shuttle to the Academy, you are responsible for getting yourself to Exeter.  When you arrive on campus, go to the Campus Safety Office located at 5 Gillman Street, Exeter, NH.  The officer on duty will escort you to your dorm.  You will need to officially register for the conference Sunday morning.

Departing from Exeter to Boston Logan Airport or South Station

At the conclusion of the conference, we arrange private coaches for your return trip to Logan Airport or South Station.  On Friday, our coaches leave campus promptly at 1:00 p.m. and arrive at Logan Airport by 2:00 p.m.  If you are heading to South Station, you will take our coach to Logan.  When departing our coach at any terminal, look for the Silver Line shuttle to South Station.  The ride to South Station (via Silver Line) from the airport is approximately 20 minutes.  All outgoing planes, trains and buses should be scheduled accordingly if you plan to use our coach service to Boston.

Shuttle / Coach Fees

If you plan to use our PTC shuttle to the Academy and/or departing coach services, the following rates apply:

 Round Trip Shuttle (mini-bus from PTC to Academy, coach departure back to Logan Airport)  $60.00

Payment for shuttles and coach services are due when you arrive at the registration desk.  We accept cash and checks only.  For the Silver Line Shuttle, you pay when you board their bus. 

 

Manchester, NH Airport

You may fly into the Manchester, NH Airport.  You will be responsible for arranging your own transportation to the Academy (see list of service providers below).  You will only need a one-way ticket.  We offer a return trip shuttle to the Manchester Airport at the conclusion of the conference on Friday.  The return shuttles departs the Academy at 1:00 p.m. sharp and arrives at the Manchester airport by 2:00 p.m.   Our return shuttle to Manchester airport is $30.00 and is payable by cash or check when you arrive at the registration desk.  We bring you directly to your departing terminal.  All flights from Manchester should be planned accordingly. 

Train Travel to Exeter

The Amtrak Downeaster makes daily round trips between Boston's North Station and Portland, ME.  This train stops in Exeter at the Lincoln Street Station.  Check the Amtrak website for schedules and fares.  From the Lincoln Street Station, it is 1/2 mile walk to the Academy.

Driving to Exeter

When driving to the conference, you should go directly to the Academy Center for registration.  The address is 9 Tan Lane, Exeter, NH.  Temporarily park on Tan Lane while you register.  We'll assist you with parking from there. 

Parking

Parking is at a premium at the Academy.  Please do not park in any on-campus spaces that are reserved for faculty residence.  Your parking options for the week are as follows:
