International Student Advisory Board
This group of international students meets weekly with the international student coordinator to plan events for the international student community and to raise awareness about the concerns of international students on campus. In the fall term all interested international students are invited to apply to serve on this board. In addition to this board, there is a wide selection of cultural clubs that represent the diverse international student body at Phillips Exeter Academy.
Exeter Embassadors is a group of students and staff members who welcome new international students into the PEA community. All new international students who express interest will be matched with a student embassador. EE sponsors social gatherings in the fall and works to foster strong ties between domestic and international students. Students who serve as Exeter Embassadors have a commitment to helping new international students adjust to life at the Academy and life in the United States. We encourage domestic boarding students, international students, and day students to become involved. New international students who would like to be matched with a student embassador should send Ms. Knapp an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the e-mail describe a bit about your interests and hobbies. Your student Embassador will write to you in June and can answer many of the questions that you may have about the transition to Exeter. Last fall the club sponsored a trip to walk the Freedom Trail in Boston and a cookie study break before final exams.
