What are Exonians Like?

'Ask an Exonian' is on Facebook

Here are the numbers:

  • 44 percent of us are U.S. students of color
  • 9.6 percent of us are international students
  • 56 percent from public schools, 44 percent from private, parochial, military, home or foreign schools

But there's much more to say. Some of us play the oboe; some of us prefer soccer. Some of us grew up on farms; some in cities. We've got different ideas and different backgrounds. What we share are curiosity and mutual respect.

Here's a glimpse:

  • 20 percent of us are day students

  • 12 of us take Arabic

  • 40 of us are on the Math Team

  • About 55 in each class study abroad during their time at Exeter

  • Our favorite cereals (according to the dining services folks) are Lucky Charms and Cocoa Puffs

And as always, should you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Admissions Office.
