"I didn't even know boarding schools were real. My assistant principal at my old school was an Exeter alum and suggested I apply since my school was posing no challenge for me.
"The dorm is the best part of boarding school. I am so close with everyone in my dorm, especially my roommate. We come from different worlds—she is from Saudi Arabia. They do a really good job of pairing students together.
